For organisations that use our award-winning, anonymous Safe2Say reporting platform to empower employees to speak up, it’s critical to ask the right questions in the right way, to establish trust and get reliable responses.
Over 50 participants from existing Safe2Say organisations enjoyed an interactive workshop at Optus Stadium, Perth with Professor Georgina Heydon, Forensic Linguist – Criminology and Justice Studies at RMIT University.
Georgina shared her knowledge into the science of questioning, giving attendees valuable insights into how they can implement the best memory-enhancing techniques to strengthen the quality of evidence they receive and improve the experience of the reporter.
Detective Inspector Natalie Jackson from the WA Police Sex Crime Division also spoke about how Safe2Say was proving to be a game-changer for victim-survivors of sex abuse and how her team investigate these cases.
